I missed posting last week and I’ve been doing so well about posting on a regular basis I just didn’t get it done I was too busy scrapbooking. I have also been posting from Starbucks while my son practices soccer and last week I decided not to go and stay and try scrapbooking in the car while I watched. I did scrapbook and I got most of a layout done but that meant I didn’t have wifi so no blog post.
Chelle’s Creations new product last week was Apple of My Eye.

I didn’t have any apple orchard pictures so did some googling and came up with the theme that that apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and did a layout about my two favorite boys. Chelle’s felt apples are just awesome!

Mye De Leon’s release was totally different. It was called Old School and was full of some great vintage embellishments

As soon as I saw it I knew I had to scrap some heritage pictures and off I went to my folder of scanned pictures which my sisters got scanned when we cleared my parents house. I found the perfect pictures from my grandmothers days as a teacher.
This will make a perfect addition to my heritage album.
In addition to these two layouts last week I did the homework for my latest class. I’m taking the Guided Study Critique Workshop at Get it Scrapped. I was really excited to sign up for the class and I haven’t been disappointed. Last week we had do two layouts which had a clear focal point.
Here are my 2 efforts
I was most happy with the tutu maker layout but after the critique session I decided to try out the suggestions made.
Do you prefer it version 2 or version 1??? I like both but I think I prefer the journaling off the hands as I liked the hands being a pointer to the focal point picture. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Yep, I’ve met a lot of my scrapping freidns, both traditional and digital in real life. Some have become very good freidns and I see them quite often. Even went to Michigan from Ohio to a wedding. The girl that went with me had never met the bride in person before but was still invited! I cherish these freidns.Love the preview as always!
