So a couple of weeks ago I worked with Mye De Leons kit called Indian Summer and this week I got to play with Chelle’s Creations called the same thing! Sometimes this happens. I love both of the kits so it didn’t matter to me.
I also got to use a freebie that will be released on Chelle’s Blog I believe tomorrow September 14th 2012. If it isn’t tomorrow it will be very soon so keep checking back if you want it.
When I saw the frame in the freebie I just knew I had to use it and allow it to frame my picture. This is what I came up with
I used a template from Scrapping With Liz’s Fairly Simple Template set.
Funny how both designers came up with very similar color palettes but very different kits. I think I’ll be able to combine them together for another layout but that’s for another day!
I didn’t feel this layout needed any more journaling than the “Remember to have fun” I added to the tab. That says it all. Can you see where I added the date?? I didn’t want to take away from the design but the date of the picture is always important for me to have on a layout.
Starting my latest class tomorrow at Get it Scrapped – super excited. More next week about that when I’ve done with lesson one.
