Sometimes when I see a new kit from a designer I know straight away what pictures I want to use and this week was one of those moments when I saw this weeks release from Chelle.
I have been busy scanning a whole box of pictures from around 2001. Eleanor was aged 4 and was still in her pink years. You will remember those times if you’ve had a little girl or you could even be in the middle of them. My little princess is not so little now and aged 15 I think its only on the dance stage when I see her in pink now! Back in 2001 though she would wear pink most days and just loved playing princess dress-up with friends. I’d only just scanned some pictures of her and her little friend at the time so I knew I had to use them.
The kit could be used for many things from the Disney Tea Cup ride to afternoon tea with grandma at the local hotel. Or do you have pictures of your little ones playing tea party. I like also that Chelle added some blue and yellow so the kit doesn’t have to be totally girl. That being said my layout is totally girl.
See how I added the “princess” in green for the title. I did this to help make the visual triangle of green from the tea cup to tea pot to the title. This helps draw the eye round the layout.
