Mark My Words……

Well summer is over at my house. My youngest started 8th grade and the oldest needs to get her summer work completed ready for school so I have officially declared it over. The weather in Texas seems to have as well but we know that’s just a tease and those 100 degree temperatures will be back before we know it. I just hope that it will stay below 100 for this weekends soccer tournament. I will be much happier if it does that’s for certain.

This week Chelle’s release called “Mark My Words” is a little different that her usual offering. There isn’t a piece of felt in sight. Not a brad or a button. This week she has given us lots of different ways of highlighting our text .

Product Description - Sometimes you need a little something to draw attention to your story. Pencils, markers, highlighters…we’ve got it all in this HUGE 140 image set of markings. Circles, arrows, boxes, brackets, underlines…even some line sets. EVERYTHING you need to “doodle” up your story. All files are grayscale, but try adding color, changing blending modes, & adjusting the opacity for even more creative options. 140 .png files & 1 abr file containing all 140 brushes.

The preview doesn’t do it justice. It wasn’t until I downloaded the file and opened it up did I realize all the variations that were included. I wish I could show them all but you’ll just have to buy it to see them. At $2.80 there isn’t an reason not to buy it though. I think it will be become a firm favorite with you.

I decided to create a layout which was heavy on the journaling to give me lots of chances to use it and so went for one of Scrapping with Liz - Journaling template – 3s a charm.

I paired it up with a variety of papers and elements from Chelle’s kits –

I can see me using these marking in many layouts to come – so watch out.
