I don’t have many layouts which need military themed items so when I saw Chelle’s new kit for this week I was worried what I could scrap until I remembered the photos of my Grandfather who served in World War II in the English Navy. He worked on the subs and spend several months in the USA working some secret weapon. This layout will make a great addition to my album of layouts about my heritage. I don’t stress about this album I just add layouts to it as and when I complete them.
The template is from Aprilisa designs at Gottapixel, she’s one of my favorite template designers. All the other supplies come from Chelle’s Navy kit but the bundle is really the best deal at the moment
These previews hide so much of what is included in the kits. Take the background paper I chose with the radar screen. Until I unzipped my folders I had no clue there was such a perfect paper for my layout given my grandfather served on the subs.
If you check out Chelle’s Blog post for today you will also find a freebie which goes with the kits. In addition if you check it out tomorrow you may find another Freebie that someone whose name is Ronnie created which will be useful on end of school pages!
Another exciting peace of news I read about today is Tamara Allen is now offering a self paced class at scraporchard.com You’ll find it in the Market. It’s a self-paced class introduction to photoshop elements. Perfect for anyone who has been struggling with learning how to use this great software. I have taken a couple of classes from Tamara and although I haven’t seen this class I can recommend it without any worries. I know Tamara will have provided you with a great course which will get anyone up and running in digital scrapbooking.
